The last of once 4 windmillls in Lauenburg was built 1871-73 and acquired in 1960 by
miller foreman Weber. Now this mill with its rustic gastronomy, the new hotel and
museum is an important and touristy part of our town.
As the highest landmark of the shipping town Lauenburg and southernmost view point
of Schleswig-Holstein our mill offers a wonderful view to Schleswig-Holstein,
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony and the wide landscape of the river
“Elbe” from the gallery and roof terrace.
